Logical Images is affiliated with the University of Rochester's
(NY, USA) Centre for Future Health, a multidisciplinary research
facility dedicated to the creation of a system of affordable,
easy to use and integrated Smart Health Tools.
In addition VisualDx and the Logical Images Dermatology Atlas
are installed at the University of Rochester's Miner Medical
Library and the Strong Hospital System Emergency Department.
Students, professors, nurses, doctors, and others find these
resources of great value.
Further, the University of Rochester's investment in Logical
Images underscores their commitment to new ways of applying
technology to medicine.
New York University
Logical Images partnered with the Ronald O. Perlman Department
of Dermatology at the NYU Medical Center for exclusive access
to 1,000,000 disease images. Photographed over the past 40 years,
these images comprise one of the world's most comprehensive
dermatologic medical photographic collections.
The collection's slides represent common and uncommon manifestations
of over 1500 diseases, and are integrated with Logical Images'
clinical knowledge bases to create software tools to help answer
medical questions and solve diagnostic problems.
Irwin M. Freedberg, MD, Department Chair and internationally
known author, commented, "We are extremely proud of this
